Company Registration Application Forms

Procedure

One needs to apply for DIN which stands for Director Identification Number for registering a company. You can fill the e-form for the grant of DIN. It might be necessary to obtain a digital certificate and to register it on portal as well. After this the company name needs to be approved through the ministry. Incorporation form needs to be filled once the name is approved by the ministry. Type of form required to be filled depends upon the kind of company.

Step 1: Application for DIN

With insertions of 266A- 266G sections into Companies Act 2006, a new concept have been introduced which is known as DIN. DIN stands for Director Identification Number. All the directors, whether existing or intending are required to get their DIN in the notified time period.

One needs to fill e-form DIN-1 for getting DIN.

Step 2: Acquire/ Register DSC

One can use digital signatures for electronic document submission with the advent of Information Technology Act of 2000. The documents to be filed electronically can be secured and authenticated by using digital signature. Because of this the companies falling under an e- governance program MCA21need to file any documents with digital signatures of the authorized person.

Acquiring DSC- digital certificate is issued by a certified authority. Certified authority could be a person with license granting power to issue a DSC.

Registering DSC – DSC needs to be registered at the MCA. After this a role check for Indian company is done in MCA application.

Step 3: Registration of New User

Before you can file any e-forms or avail a paid service you need to be registered to a relevant category of users in MCA portal.

Step 4: Incorporate a Company

Form1A needs to be filled for applying for the name of the company. Additional forms depending upon the type of company applied form may need to be filed. These forms maybe:-

    Form 1: application form required for the incorporation of a new company.

    Form 18: Form for notifying any changes in registered office or any other situation pertaining to the same.

    Form 32: This form is used for providing information of new appointments as such that of directors, managing directors, secretary and manager along with any changes in their working or other related issues like undertaking to pay for qualification shares.
